Designing a Strategic Membership Website for Healthy and Sustainable Weight Loss

Evolve by Eve is a fitness and health membership designed to help women achieve healthy, sustainable weight loss and an effortlessly lean lifestyle, without extremes and burnout.


When Eve approached me, her goal was clear: she needed a platform that would not only explain the value of her membership, but also convert visitors into paying members while remaining simple and easy to navigate.


This project focused on strategic design, not just aesthetics.


The platform needed to serve two purposes:

  1. Public-facing pages - to introduce the program, build trust, and drive sign-ups

  2. Private membership area - where members access workouts, content, and challenges


Key priorities included:

  • Clearly communicating the value of the membership

  • Creating a calm, supportive tone (not aggressive “fitness marketing”)

  • Making navigation effortless for visitors

  • Ensuring the platform could grow over time

  • Keeping the backend simple for the client to manage independently


Rather than a single traditional site, the platform was intentionally split into two connected experiences.


1. Public Website (Conversion-Focused)

The public side acts as a strategic sales funnel, guiding visitors through:

  • What the program is

  • Who it’s for

  • How it works

  • Real benefits and outcomes

  • Clear call-to-action to join


Every section was designed to reduce overwhelm and answer questions before they arise, building confidence and trust.

2. Members-Only Platform

Inside the membership, the focus shifts from conversion to usability.


Members can easily access:

  • The content library

  • Structured programs and challenges

  • Educational resources

  • Ongoing support materials


The layout prioritizes clarity and consistency so users always know where they are and what to do next, crucial for retention and long-term engagement.

Designed for Simplicity — For Users AND the Client


A major requirement was that Eve could manage the platform herself without needing constant technical support.


To achieve this, I built the site using dynamic layouts that automatically organize new content.


This means:

  • New materials slot into place automatically

  • No need to redesign pages each time

  • Consistent structure across the platform

  • Minimal risk of breaking layouts

  • Easy long-term scalability


This approach turns the website into a sustainable business tool rather than a static design.

Design Approach

The visual direction was intentionally kept calm and supportive, reflecting the philosophy behind Evolve by Eve itself. Rather than using high-intensity fitness imagery or aggressive marketing language, the design focuses on clarity. Generous spacing, simple typography, and an uncluttered layout help reduce cognitive overload and create a welcoming atmosphere for women who may already feel overwhelmed by traditional weight-loss messaging.


Every design decision was guided by the goal of making the journey feel effortless. Navigation is straightforward, information is presented in digestible sections, and calls to action are clear and easily accessible without being pushy. The overall tone communicates trust and professionalism, positioning the membership as a lifestyle solution rather than a quick fix. This approach not only improves usability but also reinforces the brand’s promise of helping women achieve lasting results in a balanced, realistic way.
